My husband Don Diamont and I recently took a weekend trip to Las Vegas to see the incomparable Jennifer Lopez in her All I Have show at the AXIS Theater. To say it was a phenomenal show would be a major understatement.
We had great seats at the AXIS Theater, which offers stadium style seating. All the seats offer a good view of the show, but when purchasing your tickets, do keep in mind that her show does not feature video screens, probably due to the special lighting effects used in the performance.
The 2 hour spectacle featured plenty of singing and dancing, and several amazing costume changes. The set list seemed to track her career, starting things off with her first Billboard hit If You Had My Love. By the end of her performance J-Lo had everyone on their feet with dance floor staples like Waiting For Tonight and On The Floor.
We loved every minute of it!
One of my favorite moments of the show was when J-Lo sang “Feel The Light” and dedicated it to her twins, Max and Emme. As a busy, working mom and the mother of twins myself, I connected with it. If you aren’t familiar with this beautiful song, here it is from when she performed it on American Idol.
We were able to go backstage and meet Jennifer, who was absolutely a delight.
We stayed at the Delano Hotel, one of our favorites. This fab hotel is connected to the 4 Seasons and Mandalay Bay. Fabulous suites and fine dining are there for the enjoyment and we particularly love the pools which feature a submerged chess board, signature cocktails, and chaise lounges.
It’s nice to reserve a cabana and spend the day relaxing by the pool.
Our suite was 1,600 square feet of luxury and featured amazing views of the city below.
The Delano has fabulous in-room dining as well as a wonderful selection of restaurants and nightclubs.
Have you see J-Lo’s show or stayed at the Delano? What do you think?
