When it comes to great concert venues, Los Angeles has its fair share, and one of my favorites is The Greek Theater.
Located in the tree-enclosed setting of Griffith Park, The Greek Theatre brings a wide variety of headline entertainment to Los Angeles. The 5,900 capacity venue has played host to some of the biggest names in entertainment, from pop to classical, reggae to rock and has even been the backdrop for blockbuster movies, including a starring role in ‘Get Him to The Greek’. The Greek Theatre has received landmark status from the city of Los Angeles and is known for presenting some of the most memorable live performances in music history.
It has also served as the site of dozens of school graduations and as a backdrop for many TV shows and motion pictures.
I think that every seat in the house is a good seat.
The Greek Theatre also offers a Premium Box Suite Program with VIP amenities: personal waiter/waitress service, VIP parking, *tickets for every concert hosted at the venue, and access to the private VIP Deck.
My husband Don Diamont and I recently attended a private event at The Greek Theater and could not have enjoyed ourselves more! We enjoyed great music and fascinating conversation in support of the Leadership in Counter-Terrorism Alumni Association (a 501C3 non-profit) who hosted its worldwide conference with Mayor Eric Garcetti and the Los Angeles Police Department. 400 world leaders were in attendance, including Sir Jonathan Evans, the former head of MI-5, United Kingdom’s domestic counter-intelligence and security agency, who shared his worldly perspective to our small group of invited guests. Michael Philipp, former Chairman and CEO of Credit Suisse Europe, Middle East & Africa and former CEO of Deutsche Asset Management also joined the conversation.
It was truly fascinating conversation and a time to reflect on the important work that law enforcement all over the world does on our collective behalf. We also enjoyed some great music. Music Icon Dave Stewart, formerly of the duo Eurythmics, was joined by vocalist Judith Hill and Vanessa Amorosi
