I’ve previously shared some of the best romantic restaurants in L.A., but there are so many great dining options that I thought I would share a few more with you.
A few weeks ago my wonderful husband, Don Diamont surprised me with a romantic dinner at Petit Ermitage this boutique hotel in West Hollywood is incredibly romantic and having one’s own private tent to dine in is so much fun!
Our anniversary isn’t for a a few months but it’s always a good idea to plan ahead, so if you have a special occasion or celebration coming up, here are a few of my favorite restaurants.
When the time comes to celebrate your anniversary or any other special occasion, Los Angeles has such a wide range of fabulous restaurants, it can be difficult to find one that will provide just the right ambiance and menu to create your ideal romantic dinner. Here are a few more of my favorite romantic destinations for your special evening.
Located inside Shutters on the Beach, One Pico will take you to another place with its setting – perfect for sunset dining, and delight your palate with its seasonal market menu and accompanying wine list. Why not go one step further and book a room at Shutters while you’re there?
Always topping every list of the best patios in Los Angeles, Cliff’s Edge is in the heart of Silverlake and, with a menu of California-influenced Mediterranean or Aegean specialties, will make any anniversary dinner feel like a honeymoon. You’ll feel as though you should send postcards to your friends and family.
Celebrity Chef Curtis Stone’s Maude, is perfect for most occasions, but the food conveys so much romantic flair, it is ideal for your anniversary. Stone describes the restaurant and its monthly set menu as, “One Key Ingredient, Ten Courses, Twenty-Four Seats, My dream little restaurant”. Perfect for that dream anniversary dinner.
Located on the 71st floor of the US Bank Tower in downtown Los Angeles, 71Above has sweeping views of the sprawling city and surrounding areas. Let the lights of the city provide the backdrop for a memorable anniversary dinner. Billed as the highest restaurant west of the Mississippi, that elevation is reflected in Chef Vartan Abgaryan’s eclectic menu.
Inn of the Seventh Ray
A drive into the Santa Monica Mountains to this special, tree-wrapped location will feel like a getaway for you and your love. The Inn of the Seventh Ray can only be described as enchanting from their setting to their farm-to-table, organic, local menu. Plan ahead and book a private gazebo, you won’t regret it.
The key to any anniversary dinner in Los Angeles is preparation. Make your reservations early so you don’t miss out on great experiences like a window seat at 71Above or a gazebo at Inn of the Seventh Ray, and always arrive early to fully enjoy the setting, have a drink at the bar, and make your special dinner the most memorable anniversary.
