Although I my office is in The Agency’s Brentwood location, I am frequently in Beverly Hills for meetings, listing appointments and other errands. Every time I am there, I am reminded of how much I love this beautiful city.
Today I thought I would share a few of my favorite hotels, restaurants, and activities that Beverly Hills has to offer!
Where to Stay
For a simple stay-cation, I love to stay in hotels that are unique and interesting. The Sofitel Hotel on Beverly Boulevard fits this perfectly.
Chic, comfortable, and incredibly well designed, the Sofitel Hotel has an amazing gym, delicious restaurant and fun bar and lounge. It’s right across from The Beverly Center and walking distance to the AMAZING Robertson Boulevard.
If you’re up for spending some extra cash and staying in the “golden triangle” of Beverly Hills, I have to suggest the Montage Hotel. This five star hotel has an impressive list of celebrity clientele, and sits at one of the most desirable locations in Beverly Hills.
Where to Shop
Now that you’re settled into your luxurious digs are you wondering what to do? It’s Beverly Hills. There’s only one thing that’s on my mind – shopping. Head to the world famous Rodeo Drive to shop the top designer brands.
When you’re exhausted from the shopping or perhaps are interested in something more historical, you have to check out this treasure I’ve only recently discovered. Just a quick drive away from The Montage or The Sofitel is the interesting and historic Greystone Park and Mansion.
Owned and operated by The City of Beverly Hills, Greystone has been used as a filming location in many movies and TV shows and is a very popular venue for weddings and parties. (It is also rumored to be haunted!) A walk through Greystone and its grounds is completely free, but I recommend coming on a Saturday where a Park Ranger will walk you through the mansion and give a wonderful guided tour about the history and architecture of this Gothic marvel for only $15.
Where to Dine
Beverly Hills is a mecca for amazing chefs and incredible restaurants. Here are my favorites:
- Jack N Jills: Jack N Jills is my favorite breakfast and lunch time spot in Beverly Hills. It serves the best American comfort food, has the sweetest waitstaff, and has a very intimate feel. I suggest the Healthy Tuna Salad with their delicious cross-cut sweet potato fries.
- Spago: Wolfgang Puck’s flagship restaurant welcomes you through its famous doors and welcoming staff, and of course the food is to die for.
There you have it. My favorite places for staycation activities in Beverly Hills. Have I missed any of your favorites? Tell me below!
