Finding just the right gift for someone you love can sometimes be a challenge. And with Father’s Day rapidly approaching, finding the right gift for dad is no easy task either. My husband, Don Diamont is an amazing father. Fun, nurturing, strong, patient, loving… all of the things a parent needs to possess in order to shape a child into a happy, healthy adult. Celebrating dad is important, so I wanted to share a few Father’s Day gift ideas, but thought I’d focus on great shops and brands, rather on individual items.

If you haven’t yet met our big, fun, unconventional family, you can see that Don is dad to 7 boys. Yes, seven.
What started out in the late 70’s as a single Hollywood Blvd store, this fashion forward boutique, TRAFFIC LA, has grown to become one of the most popular retail stores among the Hollywood Elite.
This shop is very popular with film and television actors, musicians, stylists. However, because Traffic LA is on the cutting edge of fashion it is frequented by studio stylists and anyone possessing Rock Star Sensibilities when it comes to fashion. The shop prides itself with continuously finding the “next better” thing to make the customer excited. You’ll find a mix of sophisticated suits, colorful dress socks, funky, paint-speckled designer denim, basic tees and tanks, gorgeous Moma Italian leather shoes, and adventurous pieces (hello, pink leather moto jacket). This shop is not for the subtle.
Not just sportswear though, great dress clothes, suits, ties, coats etc.. The collections are edited to perfection,
Another of Don’s favorites, this fashion forward designer creates beautiful clothing, great accessories, shoes and even has a special line of speakers for the music lover in your life!
John Varvatos is also socially responsible. The company supports the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 (SB 657) (the “CA Transparency Act”), which requires companies to disclose their efforts to eradicate slavery and human trafficking from their direct supply chains. John Varvatos has annual benefits to raise money for Stuart House, an internationally recognized, model program created by the Rape Treatment Center at Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center to serve the special needs of sexually abused children.
You can shop for Khiel’s online, but you can also pick up their products at Bloomingdale’s. I am a big fan of Bloomingdale’s for one stop shopping. The luxe department store has something for everyone for Father’s Day, including the John Varvatos and Khiel’s that Don is so fond of.
As the patriarch of this big, wonderful family I think Don deserves the very best on Father’s Day.
Father’s Day is June 19th. What do you plan to do for dad?
