As the weather cools this fall, add warmth to your home decor with luxurious velvet textiles and home accents. You can go bold or keep it muted, but the velvet trend is one not to be missed.
Just like on the runway, velvets are heating up again. You can now find them in more colors than ever. Charcoal gray velvet with a luster has a wonderful depth to it and is a classic. Ocher and green have been weaving their way into many schemes I am working on, as they bring a grounded, earthy feel to a space, while the texture makes it opulent. A dash of pulsing-hot pink velvet can jazz up a space quickly. You can find matte linen and cotton velvets and incredibly lustrous silk velvets. All of them are fantastic, but it is best not to use them all in one space. — Sara Gilbane Sullivan, interior designer

LUNA Bench by Koket

This gorgeous velvet bench has smooth lines to match the smooth texture of the velvet finish. This champagne colored piece would make a great addition to the bedroom. The design was inspired by the crescent moon, which form arms on either side of the bench, and give the product its name, Luna.
