Mother’s Day. Every year we do our best to celebrate mom and all that she does for us. Most moms will tell you that it is hard to beat a leisurely day, breakfast in bed, homemade cards and gifts of precious hand-prints pressed into clay or a macaroni necklace. As a mom to seven boys, I can tell you that is most definitely true, but it is also really nice to be a little pampered. Since a traditional Mother’s Day celebration is to take mom out to brunch, I thought I’d share a few of the most amazing brunches at some of the most luxurious venues in Los Angeles.

There are so many fantastic brunch locations in the Los Angeles area. Honestly, you can get some of the most amazing food you’ve ever tasted at a food truck in L.A. However, as this video reminds us, Mother’s Day might be a great day to pull out all the stops and really treat mom to a delicious Mother’s Day Brunch, where the ambiance is luxe and she feels totally pampered.
Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Bel-Air
Every Sunday there is an amazing Brunch held at Puck’s restaurant in the beautiful Hotel Bel-Air, and Mother’s Day is a great day to visit. The world reknowned chef’s menus reflect the healthy California lifestyle, and are infused with European and Mediterranean influences. Be sure to check out the amazing Bloody Mary Bar. The Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills
The Hotel transforms their Culina restaurant and Windows lounge every Sunday to accommodate guests at their Sunday Brunch. Consistently ranked as one of the best brunches in Los Angeles, the Four Seasons provides lavish culinary offerings, including 10 unique food stations and two live drink bars – one for freshly squeezed fruit juice blends tailored to your preferences and another for customized Bloody Mary mixes. The Blue Ribbon Garden
Did you know there is a one acre garden and outdoor dining on top of the Disney Concert Hall?
The Patina Restaurant Group frequently caters large events at this venue and for Mother’s day Brunch they create a beautiful Brunch Menu and serve it in the midst of beautiful garden and the amazing Frank Gehry Architecture. There is a “Farm to Table” station, a build your own Belgian Waffle Bar and an extensive selection of traditional brunch favorites. If mom loves great design, this might be the perfect place. The Huntington Library
This gorgeous Pasadena landmark has amazing art collections and beautiful botanical gardens. There are two brunches to choose from. Treat mom to a traditional tea in the Rose Garden Tea Room, featuring a buffet full of dainty finger sandwiches, fresh fruits, specialty desserts and more. This comes with limitless refills of tea and scones (they have seven varieties, from ginger to cranberry-orange). Or perhaps mom would prefer an al fresco Champagne Brunch in the Brown Garden. Enjoy a carving station, iced seafood station, pastas, Belgian waffle bar and dessert corner set to the soundtrack of a live five-piece classical music ensemble. Admission to the Library is required, in addition to the brunch, but you can enjoy the rest of the afternoon meandering through the botanical gardens and viewing the amazing artwork.
