Halloween is a fun time of year, and while it’s long been thought of as a kids’ holiday, more and more grown-ups are getting into the spirit. There is no way that I am going to decorate my home with items made from glow in the dark plastic, or that have a gory or scary theme to them. However, you can create eerie and elegant Halloween decor by keeping it simple. A black, white and silver color palette is the perfect jumping off point.

Mercury glass is one of my favorites any time of year, but especially at Halloween. Pumpkins, ravens, candles all make for great Halloween decor, but when paired with beautiful, sparkly, silver-toned pieces of mercury glass, it really elevates the look. Need inspiration to see how it all works together? Look no further than Pinterest, which is where I found beautiful and elegant examples.

By keeping to a black, white and silver palette, you can create elegant Halloween decor in no time. Just add pumpkins.
