Los Angeles is known as the place where Hollywood magic is made, but it is also a pretty good place to watch those movies as well. All over LA, outdoor movie venues allow guests to enjoy the best Hollywood has to offer as well as to take in California’s magnificent weather. These are a few of my favorite places to catch an outdoor movie in Los Angeles.
Cinespia

Head to the Fairbanks Lawn of the Hollywood Forever Cemetery for a unique outdoor movie experience in LA. There is plenty of fun to be had in a night at Cinespia. In addition to showing some of your favorite films, Cinespia cemetery screenings feature DJs spinning before and after the show as well as fun, themed photo booths. If you keep your eyes peeled, you may even spot a famous actor or director in the audience!
Street Food Cinema

Putting a new twist on dinner and a movie, Street Food Cinema is a fun way to enjoy a night out with your loved ones. The movies occur in different locations throughout the season, so there may be a showing near you soon! Arrive early to grab dinner and dessert from one of the delicious food trucks, then settle in with some live music before the movie begins.

Eat | See | Hear

While many outdoor movie venues allow pets, Eat See Hear bills itself as the “most accommodating pet friendly series, ever.” Dogs are given treats and biscuits at every event and water bowls and doggie bags are available all around the venues. So bring your fur baby and a picnic blanket and head out to a night at the movies with man’s best friend.

Rooftop Cinema Club

If you are looking for a outdoor movie venue with a view, Rooftop Cinema club is the ticket. Instead of spending the evening sprawled on a picnic blanket, settle into a comfy deck chair with your own pair of wireless headphones that drown out any crowd noise that may ruin your movie watching experience. Enjoy this unique film experience while taking in the views from the rooftops of Level downtown or The Montalban in Hollywood.

Do you have a favorite flick that would be more fun to see at one of these outdoor showings? I do!
