I had the pleasure of attending the Golden Nymph awards in Monte Carlo with my family in June. The Nymphs are among the most prestigious prizes in international television. Awards are given for both television shows as well as actors. The Golden Nymph statuettes are actually copies of the Nymph Salmacis, the original of which can still be seen at the Louvre in Paris. For those of you that may not know, my husband Don Diamont plays Bill Spencer on the popular soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful, and the show received a nomination for Best Telenovella or Soap Opera. We were so happy to walk the red carpet as a family.
Of course, the stay in gorgeous Monte Carlo was not bad either. Taking a few minutes to enjoy the town as well as Monaco itself was definitely on our agenda. The Bold and the Beautiful actually filmed on location here in 2016 and 2017. The setting is simply stunning.
The awards themselves were of course an amazing event. Don and I were thrilled to be able to take the boys with us and have them enjoy the festivities. Just look at all of those smiling faces!
We were all excited and proud when The Bold and The Beautiful brought home the Nymph for Best Series in the Soap Opera category! Here is a short video including a few appearances from Don himself!
Awards are always so much fun especially when there is a reason to celebrate at the end of the show.
Congratulations to CBS and to the cast and crew of The Bold and the Beautiful! You deserve it!
